A market analysis was prepared for the German river and sea cruise market, which was used to derive recommendations for action, sales channels and products for the Bremerhaven cruise ship terminal. The main aim was to improve the communication strategy for the appeal of Bremerhaven as a tourist destination.
Initial measures were implemented as a test run in September 2012 with the arrival of “Vision of the Seas” from the US shipping company Royal Caribbean. The international guests were greeted by a typical German seafarer’s welcome before heading out on trips in the region with a high level of appeal to tourists. We also produced effective presentations and a trailer to follow this up for a sales trip to the US.
