Phänomenta wishes to reposition itself in order to achieve a clear profile among the many educational offers of Bremerhaven. As part of preparing a sketch of ideas for the overhaul of the interactive exhibition’s content and design at a new location in the Fischereihafen, we were also commissioned with investigating potential secondary usages to improve its economic viability.
The clear focus is still on the appeal of the exhibition as an experience, yet with in-depth content, which will in future adopt the topics of the fishing and food industry, thus integrating the regional network of various partners as broadly as possible. In addition, our remit is also to establish it as a place of learning outside the classroom. A new concept will boost the exhibition’s appeal with a fresh approach to scientific topics and a new design.
The future economic framework and initial marketing ideas were also analysed in more detail.
